The Horror

I cannot encompass the horror of the BP oil spill. The devastation is so vast -- when I try to think about it my mind gibbers and flees in terror. I can't even conceptualize it. I mean the wetlands are dead. They're dead. What is going to happen to the people, the culture, the whole ecosystem down on the coast? What is going to happen to NOLA the next time a large hurricane comes along. It is a holocaust. A holocaust of the Gulf. I am at a loss. What is going to happen now?

Well I never thought this would happen. Hell has frozen over. The impossible has been made real. It's like putting a man on the Moon.

I don't even care if they win. Just getting there is enough.
